Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in Abu Dhabi on Thursday for a state visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the first by a Chinese head of state in 29 years to the Arab state.

Xi's plane was escorted by the UAE fighter jets when it entered the country's air space.

Upon their arrival, Xi and his wife, Peng Liyuan, were warmly received by the UAE Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. They were also presented with flowers by some local children.

The UAE's vice president hosted a welcome ceremony for the Chinese president at the airport.

A 21-gun salute was fired while Xi and his wife Peng inspected the guard of honor. Xi held cordial talks with the vice president and the crown prince.

On behalf of the Chinese government and the Chinese people, Xi sent sincere greetings and good wishes to the UAE government and the UAE people.

Since the establishment of their diplomatic relations 34 years ago, China and the UAE have always been respecting each other and treating each other as equals, Xi said, adding that bilateral ties have seen remarkable progress with fruitful pragmatic cooperation achieved in various fields.

He said that the UAE is the first stop of this overseas trip, and also the first country he visits since his re-election as President of the People's Republic of China.

This shows that China attaches great importance to its relationship with the UAE, he stressed.

Xi said that he has felt the enthusiasm and friendliness of the UAE people as soon as he had arrived in Abu Dhabi, and that he was deeply moved by that.

The Chinese president said he looks forward to exchanging views with the UAE leaders in an in-depth way on advancing bilateral relations.

Xi expressed his confidence that the visit will be a great success with efforts made from both sides and will help further cement the friendship between the two countries and the two peoples.

The UAE vice president and the crown prince warmly welcomed Xi's state visit, calling Xi an old friend and a good friend of the UAE people.

It is a great honor that Xi chooses the UAE as the first stop of his overseas trip after re-election as Chinese president, said the UAE leaders.

People from all walks of life in the UAE are eagerly looking forward to Xi's visit, which they think will be of historical significance and will help further promote the development of bilateral strategic relations in a forceful way, said the UAE leaders.

After the UAE, Xi will pay state visits to Senegal, Rwanda and South Africa, attend the 10th BRICS summit in Johannesburg, and visit Mauritius during a stopover.

Le président chinois Xi Jinping est arrivé jeudi à Abou Dhabi pour une visite d'État aux Émirats arabes unis (ÉAU). Il s'agit de la première visite d'État d'un président chinois dans ce pays arabe depuis 29 ans.

L'avion de M. Xi a été escorté par des avions de chasse des ÉAU dès son entrée dans l'espace aérien du pays.

A son arrivée, M. Xi et son épouse, Peng Liyuan, ont été chaleureusement accueillis par Cheikh Mohammed ben Rachid Al Maktoum, vice-président et Premier ministre des ÉAU, et Cheikh Mohammed ben Zayed Al Nahyane, prince héritier d'Abou Dhabi. Des enfants sont également venus leur remettre des fleurs.

Le vice-président des ÉAU a organisé dans l'aéroport une cérémonie de bienvenue pour le président chinois. Une salve de 21 coups de canon a été tirée pendant que M. Xi et son épouse passaient en revue la garde d'honneur des ÉAU. M. Xi s'est ensuite cordialement entretenu avec le vice-président et le prince héritier.

M. Xi a présenté au gouvernement et au peuple des ÉAU les plus sincères salutations et les meilleurs voeux du gouvernement et du peuple chinois.

Depuis l'établissement de leurs relations diplomatiques il y a 34 ans, la Chine et les ÉAU se sont toujours respectés, et se sont toujours traités en égaux, a souligné M. Xi, ajoutant que leurs relations bilatérales ont connu de remarquables progrès, et ont débouché sur une coopération pragmatique fructueuse dans divers domaines.

Il a indiqué que les ÉAU constituent la première étape de sa tournée à l'étranger, et sont en outre le premier pays qu'il visite depuis sa réélection à la présidence de la République populaire de Chine.

Cela montre bien que la Chine attache une grande importance à ses relations avec les ÉAU, a-t-il souligné.

M. Xi a affirmé avoir ressenti l'enthousiasme et l'amabilité du peuple des ÉAU dès son arrivée à Abou Dhabi, et qu'il en a été profondément touché.

Le président chinois s'est dit impatient d'échanger en profondeur avec les dirigeants des ÉAU au sujet du développement de leurs relations bilatérales.

وصل الرئيس الصيني شي جين بينغ يوم الخميس/19 يوليو إلى أبوظبي في زيارة دولة للإمارات العربية المتحدة، وهي الأولى التي يقوم بها رئيس صيني للإمارات منذ 29 عاما.

ودخلت طائرة شي المجال الجوي للإمارات مصحوبة بمقاتلات إماراتية.

ولدى وصول شي وعقيلته بنغ لي يوان، استقبلهما نائب الرئيس ورئيس الوزراء الإماراتي الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم وولي عهد إمارة أبوظبي الشيخ محمد بن زايد آل نهيان، استقبالا حارا، وقدّم أطفال إماراتيون الزهور لشي وبنغ.

واستضاف نائب الرئيس مراسم ترحيب بالرئيس الصيني في المطار.

وأُطلقت 21 طلقة تحية لشي وبنغ لدى استعراضهما حرس الشرف. وأجرى شي حديثا وديا مع نائب الرئيس وولي العهد.

ونيابة عن حكومة الصين وشعبها، أعرب شي عن أحر التحيات وأخلص الأماني لحكومة الإمارات وشعبها.

وأوضح شي أنه منذ إقامة العلاقات الدبلوماسية بين الصين والإمارات قبل 34 عاما، أعرب كل بلد للآخر عن احترامه وعامل كل بلد الآخر على قدم المساواة، مضيفا أن العلاقات الثنائية شهدت تقدما ملحوظا مع تعاون براجماتي مثمر في مختلف المجالات.

وأشار شي إلى أن الإمارات هي المحطة الأولى في جولته الخارجية، وأنها الدولة الأولى التي يزورها منذ إعادة انتخابه رئيسا لجمهورية الصين الشعبية.

وأكد شي أن هذا يظهر أن الصين تولي اهتماما كبيرا بعلاقتها مع الإمارات.

وأضاف أنه استشعر حماس الشعب الإماراتي وودّه منذ أن وصل إلى أبوظبي، وأنه تأثر جدا بذلك.

وأشار إلى أنه يتطلع إلى تبادل وجهات النظر مع قادة الإمارات على نحو عميق بشأن تعزيز العلاقات الثنائية.

وأعرب شي عن ثقته في أن زيارته ستحقّق نجاحا كبيرا بفضل جهود الجانبين، وستساعد في تعزيز الصداقة بين البلدين والشعبين.

ورحّب نائب الرئيس الإماراتي وولي عهد أبوظبي بزيارة شي، ووصفا شي بأنه صديق قديم وطيب للشعب الإماراتي.

وقالا إنه شرف عظيم بأن تكون الإمارات أول دولة يزورها شي عقب إعادة انتخابه رئيسا.

وأضافا أن الشعب الإماراتي بمختلف فئاته يتطلع بشغف إلى زيارة شي التي ستكون لها أهمية تاريخية وستساعد في تعزيز تنمية العلاقات الاستراتيجية الثنائية على نحو قوي.

Председатель КНР Си Цзиньпин 19 июля по местному времени прибыл в Объединенные Арабские Эмираты с государственным визитом. Это первый визит главы китайского государства в эту арабскую страну за 29 лет.

Он отметил, что ОАЭ являются первой страной посещения в ходе его тура, а также первой страной визита после его переизбрания на посту председателя КНР. Это говорит о том, что Китай уделяет повышенное внимание отношениям с ОАЭ, отметил он.

El presidente de China, Xi Jinping, llegó el pasado jueves a Abu Dhabi, la capital, para una visita de Estado a los Emiratos Arabes Unidos (EAU), la primera realizada por un jefe de Estado chino en 29 años al país árabe.

El avión de Xi fue escoltado por aviones cazas de combate de EAU cuando entró al espacio aéreo del país.
