Featuring seven short stories directed by seven elite Chinese directors, the film "Me and My Motherland," is set to hit theaters on Sept. 30 to celebrate China's progress and historic moments in the past seven decades.

Drawing on historical, classic moments since the founding of the People's Republic of China in October 1949, the seven directors focus on the seemingly distant yet close ties between the common people and the country, aiming to awaken the shared memories of the Chinese people around the world.

Starring a number of renowned actors and actresses, "Me and My Motherland" is a gift for the motherland which is celebrating the 70th anniversary of its founding.

Chen Kaige, who became the first Chinese director to win a Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival in 1993 with his "Farewell My Concubine", is the general director guiding the whole project.

"The Chinese people are actually a driver of development and progress made by the People's Republic of China over the past 70 years, so we hope to see the changes over the past 70 years from the view of point of the common people," said Chen.

The star-studded cast includes elite and award-winning actors and actresses Ge You, Huang Bo, Simon Yam, Wang Tianchen, Tong Liya, Zhang Jiayi, Zhang Yi, Wang Qianyuan, Oho Ou, Liu Tao, Liu Haoran, Chen Feiyu, Kara Wai, Du Jiang, Song Jia.

"No matter in which year you were born in, you are a witness more or less and will be touched by the deep love for the motherland in the seven stories," said actor Du Jiang who starred in the "Return", a story focused on the historical return of Hong Kong to the motherland in 1997.

Le film "Moi et ma mère patrie", qui présente sept histoires réalisées par sept réalisateurs chinois d’élite, devrait sortir en salles le 30 septembre pour rappeler les progrès et les moments historiques de la Chine au cours des sept dernières décennies.

S'appuyant sur des moments historiques depuis la fondation de la République populaire de Chine il y a 70 ans, les sept réalisateurs se concentrent sur les liens apparemment distants et pourtant étroits entre les citoyens ordinaires et le pays.

Chen Kaige, le premier réalisateur chinois à remporter une Palme d'or au Festival de Cannes en 1993 avec son film "Adieu ma concubine", est le réalisateur général du film.

"Le peuple chinois est en réalité le moteur du développement et des progrès réalisés par la République populaire de Chine au cours des 70 dernières années. Nous espérons donc regarder les changements survenus au cours des 70 dernières années du point de vue des citoyens lambda", a exprimé M. Chen.

Parmi les acteurs connus figurent Ge You, Huang Bo, Simon Yam, Wang Tianchen, Tong Liya, Zhang Jiayi, Zhang Yi, Wang Qianyuan, Oho Ou, Liu Tao, Liu Haoran, Chen Feiyu, Kara Wai, Du Jiang, Song Jia.

Con siete historias cortas dirigidas por siete directores chinos de élite, la película "Yo y mi patria", llegará a los cines el 30 de septiembre para celebrar el progreso y los momentos históricos de China en las últimas siete décadas.

Basándose en los momentos históricos e importantes desde la fundación de la República Popular China, el 1 de octubre de 1949, los siete directores se concentran en los lazos aparentemente distantes, pero en realidad estrechos, entre la gente común y el país, con el objetivo de despertar los recuerdos compartidos por el pueblo chino en todo el mundo.

Protagonizada por varios actores y actrices famosas, "Yo y mi patria" es un regalo para la patria, que está celebrando el 70º aniversario de su fundación.

Chen Kaige, el primer director chino que ganó la Palma de Oro en el festival de Cannes en 1993 con su película "Adiós a mi concubina", es el director general que guía el rodaje completo.
