China is to open the 10th temporary hospital in the city of Wuhan to handle mild cases of the deadly novel coronavirus pneumonia.
The newly transformed temporary hospital, converted from an exhibition center in southeast Wuhan's Donghu New Technology Development Zone or Optics Valley, will provide 850 beds and medical treatment for coronavirus patients with mild symptoms.
The hospital is equipped with televisions and a sound stereo system. Books and newspapers are provided on shelves placed between rows of patient beds.
Paintings created by students from across the city were pasted on walls to encourage and inspirit patients and medical staff.
The hospital also includes a shower area for 40 people to use at one time and a sophisticated sewage treatment system

Wuhan, the epicenter of the novel coronavirus outbreak that has killed more than 1,600 people , will set up a total of 13 makeshift hospitals to admit mild cases of coronavirus.
The hospitals, mainly converted from exhibition centers, stadiums, schools, will provide nearly 10,000 beds and medical care for patients with mild symptoms.
China has reported 68,500 coronavirus cases by Saturday, with 9,419 patients recovered and discharged from hospitals.
