A total of 3,051 drones rose from the athletic field of Beijing Institute of Technology, Zhuhai in south China's Guangdong Province on Sunday, and it brought a light show to the city with breaking the world record of the biggest number of drones flying at the same time.
Totaling 3,051 drones lighted up the sky of Zhuhai at early morning, and they flew in aerospace themed patterns including Tiangong-1 space laboratory and BeiDou Navigation Satellite System.
The drone performance team were owned and operated by DAMODA Intelligent Control Technology Co., Ltd. in Shenzhen City of Guangdong, and the performance broke the previous world record of 2,200 drones flying together which was kept by Russian drone team.
