"Through our ground observation and interpretation of the parameters, the three astronauts are in good working condition. Since getting out of the cabin at 08:00 this morning, the three astronauts have completed installing the foot restraints and extravehicular working platform on the mechanical arm. It took a long time. This shows that our country's extravehicular activities have just begun. They are very difficult, but we have done a good job. So now you can see the three astronauts are working on the last subject of today's mission. Just now, we saw there was teleoperation between the three astronauts and the ground crew, as well as teleoperation between the astronaut in the cabin and those outside the cabin so that they can control our robotic arm to operate with centimeter-precision. This is a feature of our space station mission. So extravehicular activities, especially with the participation of the robotic arm, is an important technology for the long-term stable operation of our space station, and it is also one of the four technologies of our space station. Judging by the current situation today, I think the astronauts have accomplished the mission well. Next step, the astronauts will go back to the airlock capsule where the three astronauts will reunite. This is the first extravehicular activity of the Shenzhou-12 mission. There will be another extravehicular task which will be more difficult. But I believe that, through the practice and experience of this task, the astronauts will better complete the next task."

Three Chinese astronauts on board the country's space station finished lifting the panoramic camera on Sunday during their first extravehicular activities.
Liu Boming and Tang Hongbo slipped out of the space station core module Tianhe in the new-generation homemade EMU (extravehicular mobility unit) spacesuits Feitian, meaning flying to space, and Nie Haisheng stayed inside Tianhe to cooperate with Liu and Tang in their extravehicular activities.
They finished lifting the panoramic camera at 12:09.
The extravehicular panoramic camera was initially installed at a lower position on the robotic arm, with a limited vision. A wider perspective of the camera is required for the astronauts to monitor the situation outside the space station, so the astronauts need to install a bracket to lift the camera higher.
They also work together to install other relevant extravehicular equipment with the aid of the mechanical arm.
Liu Xiangyan, deputy chief designer of the space station system, said the mission has been well completed so far.

The three astronauts were sent into space aboard the Shenzhou-12 spaceship on June 17.
