Finally, we excelled in the eight team races, winning first price in one game and second price in five races. Our good performances have won honor for our motherland and troops. The Chinese team won second place in the "Masters of Armored Vehicles" contest of the International Army Games 2021, which was concluded on Sunday in Russia after a six-day fierce competition that hosted a number of events.

A total of five teams from various countries around the world took part in the race held in Russia's Voronezh Oblast, which borders Ukraine.

The Chinese team won second place in the relay race on August 28, in which the command vehicle and two types of transportation vehicles were added temporarily to pass through restricted and obstructed sections.

During the competition for the Masters of Armored Vehicles, Chinese military drivers overcame the unfavorable conditions of the track and unfamiliar equipment, and finally took the first place in the captain race and second place in five other races.

"It is the first time that our Joint Logistics Support Force has teamed up to attend the international military competition in a foreign country. Yang also said that he learned a lot from the competition and hopes to apply the experience to future training.

"Next, we will take stringent epidemic control measures on our return trip, apply our good experience gained in the rally to actual combat training amid, so as to further improve the transport and delivery support capacity," he said.

The Army Games was initiated by the Russian Defense Ministry eight years ago. This year, the event will be held in countries including China, Russia, Belarus, and Uzbekistan from August 22 to September 4.

China has been invited to take part in the games since 2014, and first became a joint host in 2017.
