China's foreign ministry on Monday urged the United States to stop being a "troublemaker" disturbing peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait.

More than 20 days after the massive military drills by the People's Liberation Army (PLA) encircled Taiwan island to respond to the provocative visit by U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, the U.S. sent two Ticonderoga-class cruisers on Sunday to sail through the Taiwan Strait. The PLA announced that the entire passage of the U.S. warships had been monitored and everything was under control.

Taking a question regarding the provocations from the U.S. side, foreign ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian said the action is not about the "freedom of navigation" but a deliberate sabotage of regional peace and stability.

"The frequent flexing of force by U.S. warships under the guise of 'freedom of navigation' is not a commitment to freedom and openness, but a provocation seeking unconditional trespassing and a deliberate attempt to undermine regional peace and stability. Regarding recent comments about Taiwan made by Josep Borrell, high representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Zhao urged the European Union to continue abiding by the one-China principle.

"I would like to stress that the one-China principle has a clear meaning, that is, there is only one China in the world and Taiwan is a part of China; the government of the People's Republic of China is the sole legal government representing the whole of China; there is no room for ambiguity on this key question. China hopes that the EU will continue to abide by the one-China principle and earnestly respect China's core interests and major concerns, as well as take concrete actions to abide by commitments on Taiwan question, so as to avoid moves affecting China-EU relations," he said.

The spokesman also took a separate question regarding drones from the Chinese mainland taking photos of the Kinmen Island in Taiwan, located about 10 kilometers east of the Chinese coastal city of Xiamen in Fujian province.

Le ministère chinois des Affaires étrangères a exhorté lundi les États-Unis à cesser d'être un "fauteur de troubles" troublant la paix et la stabilité dans le détroit de Taïwan.

Plus de 20 jours après que les exercices militaires massifs de l'Armée populaire de libération (APL) ont encerclé l'île de Taïwan pour répondre à la visite provocatrice de la présidente de la Chambre des États-Unis, Nancy Pelosi, les États-Unis ont envoyé dimanche deux croiseurs lance-missiles de classe Ticonderoga pour traverser le détroit de Taïwan. L'APL a annoncé que tout le passage des navires de guerre américains avait été surveillé et que tout était sous contrôle.

Répondant à une question concernant les provocations de la partie américaine, le porte-parole du ministère des Affaires étrangères Zhao Lijian a déclaré que l'action n'était pas une "liberté de navigation" mais un sabotage délibéré de la paix et de la stabilité régionales.

"Le recours fréquent à la force par les navires de guerre américains sous le couvert de ‘liberté de navigation’ n'est pas un engagement en faveur de la liberté et de l'ouverture, mais une provocation visant à imposer la liberté d’action hégémonique et une tentative délibérée de saper la paix et la stabilité régionales. La Chine exhorte une fois de plus la partie américaine à cesser immédiatement de trafiquer, d'évider et de déformer le principe de l'unicité de la Chine, à respecter les normes fondamentales régissant les relations internationales de respect de la souveraineté et de l'intégrité territoriale des autres pays et de la non-ingérence dans leurs affaires intérieures, à observer sérieusement le principe d'une seule Chine et les trois communiqués conjoints sino-américains et à s'abstenir d'être un fauteur de troubles perturbant la paix et la stabilité à travers le détroit de Taïwan", a dit M. Zhao.

Concernant les récents commentaires sur Taïwan de Josep Borrell, haut représentant de l'Union européenne pour les affaires étrangères et la politique de sécurité, M. Zhao a exhorté l'Union européenne à continuer de respecter le principe d'une seule Chine.

"Ce que je tiens à souligner est que le principe d'une seule Chine a une signification claire, c'est-à-dire qu'il n'y a qu'une seule Chine dans le monde et que Taïwan fait partie de la Chine ; le gouvernement de la République populaire de Chine est le seul gouvernement légal représentant l'ensemble de la Chine ; il n'y a pas de place pour l'ambiguïté sur cette question clé. Le porte-parole a également répondu à une question distincte concernant des drones de la partie continentale de la Chine prenant des photos de l'île de Kinmen administrée par Taïwan, située à environ 10 km de la ville de Xiamen, dans la province du Fujian (est de la Chine).

حثّت وزارة الخارجية الصينية يوم الاثنين/29 أغسطس الجاري الولايات المتحدة على الكف عن "إثارة المشاكل" وتقويض السلام والاستقرار عبر مضيق تايوان.

وفي أعقاب أكثر من 20 يوما من التدريبات العسكرية التي أجراها جيش التحرير الشعبي الصيني بالقرب من جزيرة تايوان الصينية للرد على الزيارة الاستفزازية التي قامت بها رئيسة مجلس النواب الأمريكية نانسي بيلوسي، أرسلت الولايات المتحدة يوم الأحد طرادين من طراز تيكونديروجا للإبحار عبر مضيق تايوان، وأعلن جيش التحرير الشعبي أن مرور السفينتين الحربيتين الأمريكيتين عبر مضيق تايوان قد تم مراقبته بالكامل وأن كل شيء تحت السيطرة.

وفي معرض رده على سؤال بشأن استفزازات الجانب الأمريكي، ذكر تشاو لي جيان، المتحدث باسم وزارة الخارجية أن هذا السلوك ليس "حرية الملاحة" ولكنه تخريب متعمد للسلام والاستقرار الإقليميين.

وأكد تشاو: "أود أن أشدد على أن مبدأ صين واحدة له معنى واضح لا لبس فيه، أي أنه لا توجد سوى صين واحدة في العالم وتايوان جزء من الصين؛ وحكومة جمهورية الصين الشعبية هي الحكومة الشرعية الوحيدة التي تمثل الصين بأكملها؛ ليس هناك مجال للغموض بشأن هذه المسألة الرئيسية. وتأمل الصين في أن يواصل الاتحاد الأوروبي الالتزام بمبدأ صين واحدة، واحترام بجدية المصالح الجوهرية للصين وشواغلها الرئيسية."

　ペロシ米下院議長の挑発的な台湾訪問に対応するため、中国人民解放軍が台湾島周辺の海空域で大規模な軍事訓練を実施してから20日余り。米海軍第7艦隊が28日に、タイコンデロガ級ミサイル巡洋艦2隻を台湾海峡に派遣し海峡を通過させたが、人民解放軍は「米軍艦の航行はすべて監視、コントロールされている」と発表した。

　外交部の趙立堅報道官は29日の記者会見で、米軍の動きについて「『航行の自由』ではなく、地域の平和と安定を意図的に妨害する行為だ」とした上で、米国に対して台湾海峡の平和と安定を妨げる「トラブルメーカー」にならないよう促した。
