Leading Chinese telecommunications firm China Unicom has been playing an active role in promoting greater digital infrastructure and broader services to countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) while also putting an increased focus on localization, said the company's CEO Meng Shusen.
Meng, chairperson and CEO of China Unicom Global, said the company is actively collaborating with local partners to build "robust" digital infrastructure and has also offered localized solution to generate greater value for customers in Belt and Road countries.
"In response to the global market integration, we offer a wide range of products and solutions tailored to key industries, such as manufacturing, finance, media, transportation, and logistics, energy, e-commerce, and each of the industries which have very good growing potential in Belt and Road regions. These solutions aim to continually generate values for customers in Belt and Road countries.
