The Lebanese Hezbollah held a funeral for Wissam Hassan Tawil, a high-level commander from Hezbollah's elite Radwan force, on Tuesday in the southern Lebanese village of Khirbet Selm.
Tawil was killed along with Adham Cherri, another member of the Shiite military group, on Monday in an Israeli drone attack targeting their car.
The funeral was attended by Hezbollah members and local residents.
"It is the blood of martyrs that makes us stronger, and the more the martyrs fall, the stronger we become, and, God willing, victory will be ours," said a local resident.
"We ask God for our martyrs to have eternity in paradise," said a local Muslim cleric.
As of Tuesday, the confrontations between Hezbollah and Israel have killed 211 people on the Lebanese side, including 154 Hezbollah members and 35 civilians, according to Lebanese security sources.
