"During the mission, all the measurement and control equipment will conduct real-time and relay tracking of the rocket and the captured data will be sent immediately back to us. We will then feed these original data into our all-in-one control and display software so as to present them in more intuitive forms such as graphs, texts, tables and curves. They then will be displayed on the screen at the command hall for the decision-making of the commanders."

China's preparations for launching the Shenzhou-18 crewed spaceship are in full swing in northwest China's Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center as the personnel in the command display system have started equipment testing and parameter setting for its scheduled launch within this month.
The team responsible for the system testing will process all types of data and show them on a giant screen at the command center in the launch center.
All the real-time pictures to be presented are selected as required by the command center and adjusted at any time to update the commanders on the latest information on the status of the rocket and the spacecraft as well as the astronauts' physical conditions.

We will then feed these original data into our all-in-one control and display software so as to present them in more intuitive forms such as graphs, texts, tables and curves. They then will be displayed on the screen at the command hall for the decision-making of the commanders," said Yu Yi, staff member of the Dongfeng command and control center of the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center.
It has never been easy to display the data precisely and distribute them timely. During the preparation period, the testing team needs to repeatedly check over 300 pictures and adjust thousands of parameters according to the plan made one month in advance.

The combination of the Shenzhou-18 crewed spaceship and a Long March-2F carrier rocket has been transferred to the launching area, the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA) said on Wednesday.
According to the CMSA, the facilities and equipment at the launch site in Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in are in good condition, and various pre-launch function checks and joint tests will be carried out as planned.
The spaceship will be launched at an appropriate time in the near future, said the CMSA.
