China Media Group (CMG) has started filming a 4K documentary on Wudang Mountains, the cradle of the Taoist culture and a UNESCO World Heritage Site in central China's Hubei Province.
A filming launch ceremony was held for the 4K documentary named "Wudang the Hidden Realm" in Shiyan City, where the Wudang Mountains is located, on Tuesday, as part of CMG's integrated media campaign themed with the 10th anniversary of water supply by the middle route of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project.
The South-to-North Water Diversion Project transfers water from China's water-rich south to the arid north through the middle, eastern and western routes. The middle route is the most prominent one, starting at the Danjiangkou Reservoir in Shiyan City and running towards capital city Beijing and Tianjin. It began supplying water in December 2014.
CMG's integrated media campaign in Shiyan will include a range of programs and activities to display the city's accomplishment in preserving the ecological environment and serving the water diversion project.
At the ceremony, CMG's Hubei branch signed a framework agreement on strategic cooperation with Shiyan government to strengthen cooperation in quality programs, cultural tourism, brand promotion and other aspects.
