The J-15T carrier-borne fighter jet, the latest version of the Chinese Navy's J-15 fighter jets, arrived in the port city of Zhuhai in south China's Guangdong Province on Wednesday for the 15th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition, or Airshow China.
This year marks the first appearance of the Chinese Navy at the event, showcasing its latest fighter jet. As an advanced and improved model, the J-15T features upgrades to its avionics system and overall platform performance.
The air show, scheduled for Nov. 12-17 in Zhuhai, features a diverse range of activities including aerobatic displays.
The event coincides with the commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Air Force, which falls on Nov 11.
