Along with the main venue in Beijing, the selected locations are expected to stage a vibrant and diverse cultural feast for audiences during one of the most important traditional Chinese festivals.
The 2025 gala is the first since Spring Festival's successful inclusion on UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The gala is set to air on the Chinese Lunar New Year's Eve, which falls on Jan 28 for 2025, an occasion when families gather for reunion and festivities.
