"The resumption of the Economic and Financial Dialogue between China and the UK aims to implement the important consensus reached by President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Starmer. Established in 2008, the high-level dialogue mechanism is an important platform for dialogue and cooperation on major issues of strategic, overarching and long-term importance in the economic and financial fields. During the dialogue, the two sides will discuss topics such as macroeconomic policies and economic globalization, trade and investment, industrial cooperation, financial market development, and financial regulatory cooperation."

The 11th China-UK Economic and Financial Dialogue will be held in Beijing on Saturday as agreed between the two sides, Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun announced on Friday.
"The 11th China-UK Economic and Financial Dialogue will be held in Beijing on Jan 11 as agreed between the two sides. The dialogue will be co-chaired by Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, and British Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves, serving as the lead persons of the dialogue," said Guo.
Guo said reviving the dialogue is the implementation of the important consensus reached by Chinese President Xi Jinping and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
"The resumption of the Economic and Financial Dialogue between China and the UK aims to implement the important consensus reached by President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Starmer. Established in 2008, the high-level dialogue mechanism is an important platform for dialogue and cooperation on major issues of strategic, overarching and long-term importance in the economic and financial fields.
