The Palestinian death toll from ongoing Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip has risen to 46,537, with 109,571 others injured since the new round of conflict reignited on Oct 7, 2023, the Gaza-based health ministry said in a statement on Friday.
Civil defense officials in the Gaza Strip and sources from local hospital said on Friday that the Israeli army bombed several places in Gaza that day, killing at least 22 people, including a journalist.
Israeli warplanes bombed the Shujayea neighborhood in the northern Gaza Strip on Friday, killing eight people and injuring several others. Israeli airstrikes hit the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, killing seven. The Nuseirat refugee camp was also attacked, with three people killed including a journalist, and six others were injured.
The Israeli army also launched airstrikes and artillery attacks on Khan Yunis, killing at least four people.
