A hostage deal with Hamas has been reached, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Office said on Friday.
Netanyahu ordered his political security cabinet to convene later on Friday, and his office said the deal's approval is imminent after divisions among ministers delayed Thursday's vote on the Gaza ceasefire deal.
Israel and Hamas reached the ceasefire-for-hostage agreement on Wednesday in Qatar's Doha following intensive mediation by Qatar, Egypt, and the United States.
At least 86 people across the Gaza Strip have been killed over the past day by Israeli strikes, as the deal is yet to be approved.
