A group of international tourists has embarked on an immersive journey in Xi'an, China's ancient capital in Shaanxi Province, exploring the city's rich cultural heritage, including its historic landmarks and cultural attractions, as part of a guided tour.
The tour is part of the "China Travel with Chinese Films" initiative, hosted by the China Film Administration and China Media Group (CMG), aiming to create unforgettable experiences for international visitors by combining cinema and tourism.
As part of their immersive journey through Xi'an's rich cultural heritage, over 20 tourists from eight countries, including Egypt, Malaysia, and Turkmenistan, were greeted with a spectacular Tang Dynasty-style welcoming ceremony at the Huaqing Palace scenic area on February 28th.
The appearance of "Ne Zha 2" characters, brought to life by actors, was the highlight of the event, thrilling both domestic and foreign fans, many of whom had already seen the film.
"Today's event featured a variety of experiences. We not only experienced Chinese culture but also met characters from the Chinese movie," said Kirill, a visitor from Russia.
The event also attracted international students studying in China. They explored the thousand-year-old hot spring ruins and immersed themselves in the elegance of Tang Dynasty tea ceremonies, gaining a deeper appreciation for the profound Chinese tea culture.
