Storyline

The Palestinian National Council on Sunday condemned Israel's blockade of all humanitarian supplies entry into the Gaza Strip, accusing Israel of violating international law and exacerbating humanitarian crisis.

The Palestinian National Council said stopping aids delivery is part of a broader Israeli plan to forcibly displace Gaza's population with U.S. backing.

On Sunday, Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassim said Israel's blockade was "cheap blackmail" and a "coup" against the ceasefire agreement.

He said Israel and the U.S. should bear the responsibilities for derailing negotiations, urging the international community to apply pressure on the Israeli government to stop starving Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
