China stands ready to deepen exchanges and cooperation with countries and regions committed to peaceful use of outer space, said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian at a regular press conference on Monday.

Lin made the remarks to respond to the media inquiry of the cooperation between China and Pakistan in the aerospace field.

China and Pakistan on Friday signed a cooperation agreement on spaceflight of a Pakistani astronaut on Chinese space station, the first time for a foreign astronaut, marking a new chapter of China-Pakistan aerospace cooperation.
